Glebe Street Fair & Bunnings BBQ 15th November
The 15th of November is set to be a very big day for Glebe Public School P&C. It is the date of the annual Glebe Street Fair - at which we will have a stall selling tshirts, bags, aprons etc. It is also the date we have been assigned a BBQ spot at Bunnings in Ashfield. We will need every available volunteer on deck for the day as we try to manage an 8am-4pm BBQ and a stall at the Fair as well as selling car parking spots to fair go-ers. If you thought you might like to help the P&C out once this year, this is the day to do it. We need all the help we can get to successfully negotiate both of these events. If you have any availability at all, please let a member of the P&C know - either in the playground or using the email address below.

Movie Night Success Last Friday Glebe Public School P&C hosted a most successful movie night. Sausages were sizzled, popcorn popped and then a full house packed into the hall to enjoy old-school cartoons including Bugs Bunny and Tom & Jerry.
A huge thanks to Brett Garten for providing the films, and to the Events sub-committee for putting on the night, a lot of effort goes in to organising these events and we are so grateful for your hard work! Printing in the canteen The marvelous Antonia is keen to get her hands dirty in the canteen again - printing tshirts, bags and aprons with our wonderful Glebe logo. Anyone willing to help (no printing experience necessary) please either see Antonia in the playground or email the committee on the email at the bottom of this column to let her know what dates and times work for you. Kindy picnic afternoon THIS SUNDAY
If there are any families of 2015 kindergarten students who don't know already, there is a year-wide playdate being organised for THIS SUNDAY - 23rd - in Jubilee Park from 2pm. Jubilee Playground is part of the Glebe Foreshore Parks and is the playground with the treehouse off Northcote Rd. You can park on Northcote Rd, take the lightrail to Jubilee Park, or take bus 431. For any questions contact Tracy at tagandtk@yahoo.com
