Further grant funding received
It was with great pleasure that we were able to announce at Friday's presentation assembly that the P&C have been successful at obtaining a further $22,370 through the Community Building Partnerships Program. This funding is for additional works to be completed in the school playground in the new year.

Rally to save Glebe Youth Service - 11am Saturday
Glebe Youth Service was recently locked out of its building on Glebe Point Road following an inspection by the Land and Housing Corporation which found fire and safety issues. The Glebe Youth Service fulfils an invaluable role in our community, promoting social cohesion, encouraging young leaders and creating a safe and supportive space.  This closure has already seriously impacted the community, forcing new locations to be found for these vital services. A rally has been organised for this Saturday to highlight this issue and show the level of community support for this space, please come along to the front of the Glebe Markets this Saturday at 11am to show your support.

Bus to Nielsen Park

There are a small number of places still available for parents and carers wishing for assistance to travel to Nielsen Park next Wednesday, please see Carmel in the office to secure your place.

Parents and Carers invited to Staff Development Day - 20 December

Don't forget to take advantage of Ms Pogulis' invitation to attend the morning session of the Staff Development Day on Friday 20th December. Verity Firth will be talking about "The future of public education" - a topic of great relevance to us all. Childcare will be provided by Centipede staff in the library
