P&C Meeting - last week Friday of last week we had our term 3 daytime meeting. We shared morning tea, and discussed upcoming work on our playground thanks to a grant won by the P&C; the Trivia Night to be held on Friday 15th November, our fundraising BBQ date at Bunnings on 19th October, a Working Bee in the school grounds to be held on Sunday 3 November, as well as learning about what is happening in classrooms and staff development. Thank you to those who attended, and we hope to see some more new faces in Term 4. Bunnings BBQ October 19th On Saturday 19th October we have been given a slot to do the BBQ at Bunnings Ashfield, however we NEED YOUR HELP. We need to run a BBQ between 8am and 4pm, and can only do so if we have plenty of people to come and help. A roster is being put up on the A-frame / Sandwich board, please put your name down for an hour or two. This is a great opportunity for the P&C to make a substantial amount of money, but we need support to make it happen. Hilda Booler Fete & Glebe Tshirts This Sunday, 15 September, is the annual Hilda Booler Fete in Jubilee Park Glebe from 10am-2pm. As well as rides, treasure hunts, fairy floss, BBQ, drinks, biscuit decorating, second hand goods and other great stuff for the family we will be selling Glebe tshirts and telling the community about our school. Alicia Merrick is looking after the tshirt stall from 10-12 but we need some parents to look after it from 12-2. Anyone willing to assist please let myself, Alicia or Rachel Garten know. |
