Working Bee Sunday 10th August

A big thank you to all those who turned up to our 2014 working bee on Sunday. Parents and friends, you will notice that our drains are cleared, the toilets have newly painted floors, new plants have been planted in the beds down near Glebe Point Road, the grounds are significantly cleaner and tidier and we have a new garden bed at the end of the oval. It was a busy day with lots of families, staff and some excellent helpers from St Barnabas' church without whom our garden bed would not have been organised. A huge thanks to Katrina Stomann for organising us all, well done!!

P&C AGM Tuesday 2nd September

Put it in your diaries now so you don't miss out on our last meeting for Term 2. Come and chat about what is happening at Glebe Public School, take the opportunity to ask questions of the Principal & let the P&C know what you would like parents and friends of Glebe Public School to get involved in for the rest of this year. As this is the AGM we will also be voting for next year's office holders, so if you are keen to participate in the P&C committee or exercise your right to decide who will be on the committee we hope to see you on the night. From 6:30pm as per usual - free childcare will be provided at Centipede.

Upcoming fetes

More dates for your diary

12 October - Hilda Booler Fete in Jubilee Park. Last year we were able to sell Glebe tshirts and bags at this event, at the very least its a wonderful day out and a chance to support a local community run preschool

19 October - Forest Lodge Fete. Our very own Glebe Public School choir will be performing on the day, there will be rides and food and lots of fun. Ride tickets will be available in advance and we'll have more information on that in upcoming Glebe Matters - watch this space!!

Cheers
