Glebe Street Fair - help neededGlebe Street Fair is THIS SUNDAY the 18th November and we need your help. Again we will be opening our school carpark to visitors for a fee, but we need willing parents to collect money and allow cars entry. Anyone willing to lend an umbrella and deck chairs to the volunteers, please let me know. If there are enough volunteers for the day we will also sell t-shirts, so anyone with any amount of time on the day please we'd love to have your help. The day runs from 10am to 5pm so if you are able to bring a friend and sit for some of that time we'd be most grateful, I might even bake you something to tide you over. Sculptures in the city - baking requestThe Sculptures in the City event is on tomorrow morning - and parents are invited to join their children's classes to create sculptures in the playground. There will also be a P&C cake stall at morning tea time for students, teachers, parents and carers - if anyone is able to bake for this please bring your contributions to the canteen tomorrow morning P&C meeting TONIGHT Thursday 15th November from 6:30pm in the Computer Lab, and childcare is being provided by Linda at Centipede (complete with dinner so do let me know if you're coming so I can cater for your children). Please do come along if you are interested in getting more involved across the school, have any ideas you'd like to share or thoughts for things you'd like to see in the new year.
Ultimo Public School Art Show On Thursday 29th November Ultimo Public School are holding their Art Show from 5-7pm. There will be student music ensembles, gelato, P&C food stall and Indonesian shadow puppet displays and of course the art. Pop in for a squiz, see if we can get some ideas for holding our own Glebe Public School Art Show in 2013.
