Happy HalloweenWe hope everyone enjoyed last night's Halloween festivities, it was great to see so many Glebe Public School children out and about together in their fabulous costumes frightening the locals.
Glebe Market StallAnna and Chris are again organising the stall at the Glebe markets this Saturday, selling tshirts and second hand clothes. Anyone with pre-loved items in good condition please bring them in to the school, also if anyone is available to help out on the stall please let Anna, Chris or myself know, I understand there is a gap from 12-2 currently.Working Bee Just a reminder that a working bee is to be held together with some people from Johnson & Johnson who are coming in to do some work around the school on Friday 9th November, and again anyone interested in helping out will be most welcome.
Sculpture in the cityThe indefatigable Mrs Seymour is planning a morning for the whole family on Friday 16th October. The parents, carers and family members who are available after morning lines can join their child's class to help create whole of class sculptures in the school grounds. The creating of masterpieces will take place until recess, when we will break for morning tea (anyone willing to bake, please bring goodies on the day, and they will be available for sale for a small donation to P&C). Then we will be able to tour the school viewing each classes' sculptures, and the children will vote for the winning class - to be announced in assembly. More details will follow, but mark the date out in your diaries now,
