Glebe Street FairWhat a fantastic day on Sunday at the Glebe Street Fair! Bec, Heidi and Vicki missed most of the action sitting up in the sunny carpark but managed to raise over $700 for the school. Those of us who looked after the tshirt stall (thank you Jamie, Sarah, Sally, Thea, Verity and Matthew) were able to enjoy the fair and receive the praise and enthusiasm for the Glebe tshirts and sell over $700 worth. It was a great day for the community as a whole, and our school community particularly. Sculptures in the cityA big thank you to Hillary for organising the Sculptures in the City event, and also to those who baked and participated in raising another $90 for the P&C. Thank you to those who attended last week's P&C - one discussion point was a P&C Christmas celebration, likely to be 12 December 6:30pm so watch this space for more details . Looking to 2013 we are hoping to make the meetings more accessible for everyone, holding them on different weeknights, providing regular childcare and having some during the day. If you have any particular requests Verity will be drawing up a calendar over the next few months. Ultimo Public School Art Show On Thursday 29th November Ultimo Public School are holding their Art Show from 5-7pm. There will be student music ensembles, gelato, P&C food stall and Indonesian shadow puppet displays and of course the art. Pop in for a squiz, see if we can get some ideas for holding our own Glebe Public School Art Show in 2013.
