Reflections on 2014

As the school has grown, so have the P&C in 2014, seeing new parents and carers getting involved in all aspects from tshirts to BBQs, from grant writing to movie night-ing and everything in between. We have been able to continue to provide events which help strengthen our school community, as well as ones that raise important funds for works and equipment needed by the school.

Upcoming Plans for the P&C

As a P&C group, preparing for the end of one year, reflecting on what we have done, we are also looking forward to 2015.

A significant project, which we have already begun to work on, is funding for new playground equipment and soft fall in the playground space. Significant funds are required to complete such a project, but the P&C are in the process of exploring a variety of avenues in this regard. If there are parents who are particularly interested in helping out with this project, we would love to hear from you using the email address below.

Another project proposed for 2015 is to create our own Glebe Public School recipe book, again anyone wishing to get involved in this project please let us know.

We will also need to install our hopscotch mosaic in the holidays, the first significant piece of functional artwork purchased by our school P&C, to be enjoyed by students for years to come.
