Grounds worksYou will have noticed last week that worked commenced on the new red pathway from the front gate into the school. Work will continue in the coming weeks to lift and level the paving both there and outside Centipede. These works have been undertaken using funds raised through the P&C by applying for grants. There are many such grants which may be available to the P&C to continue to improve our playground, if there are parents particularly interested in this area please let us know as we would love your help with ideas and in finding and completing suitable grant applications. P&C end of year celebration - TONIGHT at the FlodgeThe P&C wishes to thank everyone who has contributed this year, and to invite you (and anyone else who would like to get involved in 2014) to a celebration of an amazing year for the Glebe Public School P&C. A table has been booked in the name of the Glebe Public School P&C in the front section of the Forest Lodge Hotel on Thursday 5th December from 6:30pm, drinks can be purchased at own expense and some grub will be provided courtesy of the P&C. Bus to Nielsen ParkLast year the P&C put on a bus to take families with transport difficulties to the end of year Nielsen Park picnic. If this could be useful again this year, please register your interest with Carmel in the office so that we can decide if it would be worthwhile to do this again. Glebe Christmas - 11 DecemberOn Wednesday December 11th the City of Sydney are organising a "Christmas in the Villages" in Glebe from 5:30-7:30 along Glebe Point Road - exactly what this will look like we are not sure, but we will use it as the final opportunity to sell Glebe shirts, bags and aprons. Rachel Garten and Joanne Lee are organising, if you're keen to help out then see either them or myself, otherwise use the opportunity to purchase some Glebe merchandise for Christmas.
