Welcome (back) To all those families who are new to Glebe this year, welcome to our wonderful school, we look forward to meeting and getting to know you and your children. To those who are returning after a summer (or winter) break, we hope you are feeling refreshed and ready for 2013.  P&C Meeting Our first P&C meeting of the year will take place on Thursday 28th February from 6:30pm. Please do come along if you are interested in getting more involved across the school, have any ideas you'd like to share or thoughts for things you'd like to see in the new year or would just like to learn a little more about what goes on at Glebe Public School. Linda from Centipede is able to provide childcare so bring your children along to Centipede before heading up to the Computer lab for a chance to learn more about what is going on in the school.  Mitchell Street Fete Sunday 24th of March is the date for the Mitchell Street Fete - an event which celebrates the strengths, interests and diversity of the Glebe community. As well as selling our famous Glebe pride tshirts, the P&C will also be running the BBQ. We will need volunteers to help set up, to pack away, and especially   for cooking and sales between 10am and 2pm. Anyone available to help out, please let either myself or Zonya know, and we'll start creating a roster. Tshirts Supplies of our famous Glebe pride shirts are getting low, so we will soon be setting up a sweatshop in the canteen. Watch this space for more details of time and dates, but please feel free to chat to either myself or Antonia if you are interested.
