Trivia Night funds for school music program The P&C will be providing funds to the school making it possible to extend the very successful music programme for another term. Our donation of $7000, made possible by the excellent result at our Trivia Night, ensures the programme continues until the end of 2014 at the very least. The P&C is very excited to provide this funding and support an important part of our children's learning. P&C Meeting Thank you to those who attended Tuesday night's P&C meeting. We had good discussions about grounds works in the school, staffing, what is happening this term, organisation within the school and this year's headstart program. We discussed the outcomes of our Trivia night in term 1. We also talked about plans to organise a cake stall during this term, to help fundraising for the Year 6 camp, and to organise a sausage sizzle for a winter solstise event at Glebe library on Friday 20th June. We know that it is not possible for everyone to attend these meetings, but if you are wanting to get involved or have any feedback feel free to approach any of our committee members at school, or email us on the address below. Mothers Day Silent Auction The P&C are auctioning off a most fabulous Mothers Day gift which will go to the highest bidder before Mothers Day. The prize is a photography package worth $800 with a photographer in Balmain, Milk & Honey. The package includes a free canvas or framed photo, for your family.
