P&C Meeting

The first meeting for Term 2 will be on NEXT Thursday 16th May at 6:30pm in the Computer lab. Linda will be providing childcare in Centipede. We will be particularly discussing the upcoming Movie Night (see below), but also learning about what else is going on in the school, meeting other parents and expressing any ideas or concerns we have about Glebe Public School

Mothers Day Stall

A reminder to have some funds available for the Mothers Day Stall on tomorrow - and a big thank you to Bunnings, Target and Kmart all of whom donated goodies which will be on sale, it means more of the efforts can be towards fundraising for our school and the wider community.

Markets Stall and Glebe Pride Tshirts

Some parents from Glebe Public School will be in the markets this Saturday selling Glebe Pride tshirts. If anyone is keen to help please let us know, otherwise if you're in the area come say hi, get yourself a new tshirt & please tell your friends. We will be buying more blank tshirts and doing some printing soon, anyone keen to help please let either myself or Antonia know (no experience needed). Also if there are people who still want tshirts please let us know about colours and sizes you'd like to see on offer!

Movie Night - Friday 21st June

Mark the date in your calendars now, and let other members of our community know - especially prospective families for Glebe Public School.  We will need your help to make this happen, please let us know if you're keen to be a part of this event.

Sydney Alliance Assembly

For those who have not heard of the Sydney Alliance, in short they are a non-party political organisation that aims to bring together community organisations, unions and religious organisations to achieve positive change in local areas. On Monday 20th of May they are holding an event in the hall at St Scholastica Catholic College from 5:30pm and speaking at this event will be the CEO of Mirvac (who are building the Harold Park Housing development) and an apprentice to that project who has been given an opportunity through the work of the Sydney Alliance. If you are interested in attending this event you would be most welcome - please let me know as we need to register interest from Glebe Public School.

Cheers
