Welcome Back TERM 4!!! Wow, hope all our staff, students and families had a wonderful break and are ready for the busiest term of the year. You will also notice the beautiful new asphalting that took place in the school holidays thanks to a hard won P&C grant. Big thanks to Ari Maniatis for organising and coordinating this effort. P&C Meeting There is only 1 formal P&C meeting in Term 4, to be held on Tuesday 21st October from 6:30pm in the Computer Lab. Childcare will be provided and we invite all members of our school community to come along Hilda Booler Fete this Sunday 12 October Our school has a strong connection to Hilda Booler Kindergarten in Jubilee Park. Many of our students are alumni of this illustrious institution, and Mr Lee's class has been down there several times this year for visits. As well as the usual Fete offerings - big slides, animal farm, jumping castle, BBQ, coffees, fresh lemonade etc we have also been invited to sell Glebe tshirts. As many of our P&C parents are also Hilda Booler parents we would gratefully appreciate help with the tshirt selling on the day - it only runs from 10am-2pm. We invite everyone to come along and join the fun and support the preschool. Forest Lodge Fete Sunday 19 October Our fellow local school, Forest Lodge, is holding a Fete the following Sunday, 19 October. They have invited our choir to come and sing, so you are all invited to come along and support them from 11:00-11:20am. Our year 6ers will be holding a badge making stall to raise money for their end of year lunch. If you're coming along to support this event be aware that you can pre-purchase your rides passes and save money. The Pre-purchase price is $15 for unlimited rides (or $25 on the day). $5 unlimited rides for under 4 year olds.
